Mac Addiction * Makeup Addiction

Okay, clearly we know what the subject is going to be all about but come on...I'm serious. I'm starting to have a MAC addiction problem which I need to fix because I never did before. On the other hand, I am also going through the stage of makeup addiction as well. I mean over the last 2 years, I have been collecting a lot more makeup then before and I never got to this stage. But right now, I have tons and tons of makeup that are not even done yet and some that are barely touched nor not touched at all but I am having this craziness or should I call it maddness of having to get more and more makeup. The more I get the more I become happy...don't know why but at this stage I shouldn't be going through this. Somehow I am and it is no good.

I'm glad my hubby is putting me on probihtion but in it's own way

it is not good for me. I can't get anything that I want especially

limited edition makeup. *sigh* I have been begging serious begging

to go to Springfield but he kept saying no. I guess after last night

and today he finally said he'll take me but no spending money.

Good luck with that...but it also refers to me too at the same time.

I hope I am lucky enough because I also want to go to the CCO in

Branson and see what have I been missing out on while I was gone.

I hope tomorrow is my lucky day I will really have to work on my

charm and charm him..wink*wink*

Any how, all I wanted to say and confess is that I am really getting out of hand.

I have been spending money on makeup like crazy. These few days and weeks

I have done outrageous things that I have never done before. I should be past

this stage but somehow I am not. When I first started out in makeup I never

even had an addiction on buying so much makeup but somehow been collecting

a lot. But I have never felt like this...now I know how Aubrey feels when she

was confessing in a video about hauling too much makeup. I know I have a lot

and plenty to use from but I want more....I should be thankful and happy but

somehow I'm sad and unhappy at the same time. I know it is addicting but I

also know myself. I know when to stop and chill but I feel like I am missing out

on limited edition items and I will be regretting it for the rest of my life. Yes, you;ve

heard me for the rest of my life. I will probably be buying it off ebay and reading

through people's blog and regretting.

I'm not sure what to do but any suggestion would work. I just want to get all

the major items I want from MAC, Sephora, Coach, CCO and then I am done

for good and for real! I just hope that some people will understand.

• #1 person on my list I will have to say is Miss Aubrey! Why? I love how easy it is to follow her in her video. I love watching what she haul. I think that's my favorite and second would be watching what her favorite items are. She is first guru I have watched on youtube when I actual started paying attention to youtube. She was the first person I subscribe to and the one person that I would look for when I get on youtube. I don't know but she's addicting...like my own brand of heorine..hehehe..get it?

• My second favorite person to watch is marlena. I love all her tutorials on her looks. She has inspire me so much in so many ways that I can't even explain. I love her so much mostly because of her eyeshadow looks. She has by far the hottest and most professional looking eyeshadow looks that I have seen created on youtube. Her video is very brief and understanding to follow. It goes with the flow and when you watch her video it feels very natural, very much yourself. Yeah, I think that's the word for it. When you're watching her video she makes you feel comfortable and yourself. You don't have to feel like you're someone else. I love you MG!

• My third favorite is Laura also known as lollipop26. Everytime I watch her video she makes me feel so happy and bubbly inside. I know it sounds corny but she does. She's always such a happy face and she's always happy. When I watch her video it makes me happy and I enjoy it so much that it puts a smile on my face. Even reading her blog is so good...to say or round things up each time you watch her or read her blog she makes your world go round and round. For example, like in one of her blog or video she was saying that "other then that life seems to be pretty good." To me, when I have any contact with her she makes me feel like I have nothing to worry about. There's only me and the one thing I love the most...makeup! Yep! This is exactly how I feel for a moment I was struggling on finding the words but here they are. I like how positive and so much energy she has when she's talking about makeup. By seeing and reading what she has to say it really tells that makeup really makes her happy!

• emilynoel: I love how she makes cheap makeup look so good! Like you don't need to buy expensive things to look good. I love her tutorial and all her videos.

• julieg713: I love how julie always has a smile on which makes you more intune to her videos. She's also another happy face on youtube.

• makeupbytiffanyd: I love how she does her eyes. Beside marlena I think tiffany comes in second place to doing professional makeup. Her tutorial are easy to follow but her technique or skill is sort of hard to do, not hard to follow but hard to do!

• sephorajunkie: She basically does haul video only. I love watching what she gets in her haul videos. She collects almost everything MAC comes out with. Iwould suggest her for those who need tips and ideas on what to get.

• I also like makeupenvy but she upload videos once in awhile only. I guess she busy being a MUA and a mommy. I love her most recent tutorial, they are awesome!

• and...yep, this is pretty much all the folks that I watch mostly of and I love them for doing what they do best at!

Regretful Items

Let me ask you if there were things that you regretted

not getting?

For me it would be these items:

1. MAC spiced chocolate quad: this is a very pretty

and neutral quad. I regretted not getting it after tons

and tons of people rave about it on youtube. Hopefully

I'll get lucky and find it at my CCO. On Ebay these are

sold for twice and triple the original price you would have

paid for it if you were to bought it at MAC.

2. NARS orgasm and laguna bronzer duo: I got the orgasm

alone and didn't think that I will need laguna but lately I have

been hearing so much review and rave about it. I want to return

my orgasm and get this duo..I might just do so when I go to springfield.

3. MAC So Ceylon MSF: After seeing the swatches from aubrey and

hearing that it was the most unique one out of all of them from many

bloggers such as lollipop26 I regret not getting it. I saw it at one of the

CCO that I went to when I was up north but didn't get it. When I swatch

it I was like "eww! NO!" and that was it I didn't even take a second look

at it. Argh!! I am so regretting this item!

4. MAC northen lights MSF: Like before I didn't get this and after seeing

miss aubrey's swatches on her blog I regretted so much. I went on ebay

after seeing her swatches and it was around $38-$50 and I was like " heck,

no! I must be desperate for it to buy it for that expensive."

5. MAC perfect topping, redhead, blonde, soft and gentle and refined

MSF: I recently go the rehead at the MAC counter in Wisconsin, so

it was a good thing. From MAC sale that they were having I couldn't

resist and help myself so I went ahead and got perfect, soft and gentle

and refined. Even though I did swatch and play with refined while purchasing

rehead at the counter I found that I liked rehead more but I decided that

I gotta have it all! So these don't basically count but they did so that's

why I had to put them on my list because they were MUST HAVE!

6. MAC light flush MSF: I regret getting this after seeing aubrey's

swatches again. I just love this light pink color!

7. Cocomotion and shadowy lady quad: First of all, I just recently got

cocomotion while I was on vacation. I found shadowy lady at the

CCO at KC so I'm so glad that I did.

8. Wings eyes quad: In this quad they had vanilla and expresso. I

don't remember the other 2 colors but I liked this quad a lot and

at the time I needed these two shadows. At the same time I was

getting fafi 1 quad and didn't know that there was vanilla in that

quad already. After buying fafi and shadowy lady I was happy that

I got vanilla. But I still want this quad. So why didn't I get it? Actually,

I did bring it up with my items of getting but the two lady looked for

about 15 minutes searching the back and front of the store and found

no luck! I was super damn regretting it! I knew I liked the colors from

this quad I think they were very natural and neutral. Hopefully, when I

go back there they'll have it in stock along with some goodies that I want.

9. HK fashion mew lipstick and mimi gloss: these were my top picks

because I was inspire by marlena and I did swatch them and at the

time I thought they were hideous but now that I am more interested

in it...I so regret these along with one other lipstick which I can't remember.

10. HK brush holder: this was the number one thing on my list

to get but it was out of stock online and to all the MAC standing

that I went to. I just want the brush holder...it's so cute!

11. solar white eyeshadow: after seeing marlena's video on how

to make small eye look big..I so regret this shadow. When I first

swatch it, my first impression was too white with a reflect of pink

in it. That was why I pass it off....maybe I'll get it the next time I

go to the CCO.

12. Pink Rebel lustre drops: I didn't pay attention to any of the

collection except for HK. But after style warrior came out I knew

exactly what I wanted. After making my mind up about getting what

I only got on a mission blush, golden refined bronzer and vibrant

grape e/s. I didn't get any luck finding this anywhere. I checked

online like a thousand times on different days and times but no

luck at all! someone please help!

13. brave new bronze lipstick: This is a nude color which is more

on the pink side then biege. I like it alot and after researching

on what to get and hearing tons and tons of review about it

on youtube...I knew I wanted this lipstick. Yes, basically because

it's a nude lipstick and yes, I love my nudes and pinks! Yet

I went online and into one standing mac and a mac store and

found no luck....

14. bojouris night lip balm: I went to Ulta while on vacation

but didn't write down my list so I wasn't sure what to get

while I was in store. At the end of the day I remember that

I purposely went there to get this item...I tend to forget things

now that I am aging...so I went online trying to order it but it

was out of stock and then when I got notify that it was back

in stock....I didn't get it and just now that I am getting a discount

at ulta it's out of stock again...just my luck, huh?

I can't think of anything else now but if I have to do another

round of regretting items I will. I think we all do have those

moments....I have to give miss lollipop26 credit for this blog

since she was the one who inspire me in this. I knew I wanted

to the whole world which items I regret getting but she gave me

this idea of sharing my thoughts...thanks Laura!

Victoria Secret VS Bath & Body Works

So have you ever wonder which store to go to

and the price ranges of their products? Well

here's a full review of it.

Victoria Secret

customer service: don't really greet you when you first enter

but does when you purchase something from the store

packaging: slightly larger then b&b

smell: smells good

ranges of smell: yes, but not a lot of them that I like. I like

two smell from there.

prices: 5 for $30

use to be 5 for $35

splash-$9

lotions and body creams: $9.50

no hand soap, no candles, no air plug in air fresheners

VS has no sale throughout the year for their lotions and fragrances. Unless

it's their semi-annual sale where they're getting rid of discontinue items. They're

sale is 5 for $30 and that's it or purchase them separately.

Bath & Body

customer service: good customer service no matter what

packaging: cuter then VS

smell: lots of different smells

ranges of smell: a lot more then VS

prices: lotions-$9.50

splash-around $9

perfume-around $20 and $25

body creme-$9-10

bubble bath and shower gel-$9-10

has hand soap, candles, air freshener,

they do come in mini travel size for body splash, hand sanitizer and lotion

They usually have sale like buy 3 get 3 free, buy 2 get 2 free, 3 for

$35, they'll have coupons during the year, etc.

Overall, both these stores has their own advantages but I will say that

at first, I liked VS more then anything and I still do only because of 3

of their lines. Besides the bras, panties and lingerie then there's nothing

in it for me. But I love how b&b have so much to choose from and my favorite scent

is in there. I like both stores to be honest and they both are from the same company they

just made 2 stores but came from same company or creator. I guess it is just a matter

of which store has your scent. I love both to death so I can't complain!

Tresemme Heat Protection

I have finally found my favorite thermal protection hair care.

This is my second bottle and I'm almost done with it. I haven't

fully tried every brands there is out there but I will say that for

$4 bucks this stuff works really good. I could see a big difference

in my hair when I do put it on before styling and without it before

styling. I give this a thumbs up! I like the smell, it smells good and

kind of attracting. So if you're looking for a cheaper alternative, one

that works good and smells good then I would pick this up.

Where can you find it: any where from drugstores to grocery stores

how much: around $3 something so $4 bucks would be right

packaging: cute and very convenient

will I buy again: yes, definitely must have!

I own and collected. I know it's a mess but it's just an

obession that took over me. I went major japanese cherry

blossom crazy so this is how I got all of these items.

Do you want a smell that smells good, sophisicated, and makes you smell like you're rich? Yes,I know it sounds stupid but believe me this stuff makes you smell like a million bucks! This stuff is good and I can't even find the words to describe it. Like seriously there's no words to explain how good and awesome this smell is. I'm just glad and thankful that b&b created this smell. I'm also glad that I went inside of the b&b with my sisters and she introduced the smell to me. I love her for doing this forever! She only owns the perfum but me I own everything there is in this collection. This is my signature smell and yes, you've heard me my signature smell!
